The color is perfect on those tomatos. Most of the time, when I see tomatos in still life they look too red. Love your brushstrokes on the leaves, like in the other tomato painting.

Those tomatoes finally ripened while you were painting them for 15 hours.
These are great. I love the brush strokes and their yummy red color. They look good enough to cut up and enjoy with some mozzarella and olive oil. Can you paint that next?

Oh, and I forgot to say that it doesn’t look like a “quickie” at all. It looks fresh! And I mean that in the regular sense as well as the Mid 80′s NY hip hop sense.
