This is superb. The black background fits this better than it fit Kermit. The warmth of the cat contrasts so well that it looks as though he’s jumping off the page. I really like how you captured the roundness of the wooden forms with those cross contour strokes. I can’t say that enough, huh?

Very dramatic now with the black background. The kitty still has her lovely warm tones.
