Yes. All the time. I have decided that I am the worst judge of my own art. We may know what we are trying to say but never really know if we said it. Don’t paint over this. I like the the lost and found edges, the look this portrait has about hidden truths and the lashes…dropped…pushes me the viewer furthur from just getting into this guy’s head. It makes me look longer….. I’ll bet this painting changes in different light, also. It’s a “keeper”.
